Internship Program

There are two types of intern opportunities that we offer.  One is for post-graduates of our ministry program.  The other is for young women that have recently graduated a school other than Harvest Time Ministries, and feel the call of God into the work of the ministry. Our internship program is a great opportunity for real hands-on training in ministry.
By working as an intern, students have the opportunity to further their character development, gain job skills, and experience first-hand what ministry is all about.  Interns often travel with Rev Shawn whenever she ministers, and can become active members in the Harvest Time Ministry Team.
Through the Ministry Team, interns are able to minister through drama and testimony.  The Ministry Team gives plenty of opportunities to share with others what God has done in their lives.  Not only do interns minister in churches, but also in schools, nursing homes, public gatherings, prisons, door to door ministry, and even on the mission field.  A missions trip to Mexico is being planned for 2009.
The program requires a year long commitment from the student.  For our post graduates, it provides a time for the student to learn how to manage life after Harvest Time.  Interns have more freedoms and privileges than students in the ministry program, as well as more responsibilities.  Whether the student is returning home, moving off to college, going to Bible School, or beginning a career, internship is a great way for post-graduates to transition into the next phase of life.

Meet Our Interns

Gabrielle Tillman graduated in October of 2009 from the ministry and from high school.  She has committed to stay with us and intern for one year.  She is learning new skills and fills in wherever she is needed.  She is on the ministry team, is Mrs. Michelle's Personal Assistant, and helps with incoming students.  We are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in her and through her.

Jessica Nguyen graduated in December of 2009 from the ministry program and from high school.  She is interning now and working as Rev Shawn's Armor Bearer and Personal Assistant.  She is a member of the ministry team and is privileged with being able to travel with Rev Shawn constantly.  Her love for the Lord and Rev Shawn have made her a wonderful blessing to the ministry.

Kandyse Fee graduated from the ministry and from high school in December 2009.  She is interning with us and assisting Ms. Angela with the Food Administration.  She is a huge blessing to all of us by assisting in the job of feeding 45 people 3 meals a day, everyday.  We believe God is doing a mighty work in her as she sows the seed of this time of her life into this ministry.
